What is the time commitment for travel soccer?
Teams practice two nights a week. Games are on Saturdays or Sundays depending on the age level of the player. The season is 8 games. The fall season is from the end of August through the end of October and the spring season is the beginning of April through the beginning of June.
How far do you travel for games?
The league geography ranges from around 30 to 90 minute drive one way throughout South Central PA. Teams typically play four home games and four away games during the season. Individual teams also go to a tournament during the year.
How does my child join a team?
Players are evaluated in May to be placed on a team for the following year. If you are interested in joining a team, but missed tryouts, you can email unionsoccerclubcburg@gmail.com for more information.
How many players are on a team?

U9 and U10 play 7v7 games and teams typically have 10-12 players.

U11 and U12 play 9v9 games and teams typically have 12-14 players.

U13 and older play 11v11 games and teams typically have 14-18 players.
What is the financial obligation for travel soccer?
The cost for the 2025-26 year is $200 per season. Due to rising costs, the registration fee will be going up slightly for 2026-27 year. In addition, players will have to purchase a uniform. We do have scholarship options available for families that demonstrate a financial need.
